Top 5 questions I get asked about laser hair removal?
- Does it work?
- Does it hurt?
- How much does it cost?
- How many times do you have to do it?
- Do guys ever get that done?
If you read my articles here in the Scoop, you should already know the answers to the first four questions, if not, consultations are free! 🙂
Let’s focus on #5- Do guys get laser?
In fact, it is the #1 growing demographic at Light Touch Laser.
When we first opened 10 years ago, we had about 5 male clients in the first year. Now, I have days where I treat more men than women!
Women have always seemed to have the monopoly on personal grooming. I can’t even count the number of women that have sat in my laser room and mumbled “the things we women do.
The truth is, if anyone knows about the hardship of life with a razor- it is a man.
A fella who is just doing basic facial shaving is going to log in some serious time in the bathroom over the span of his life. Just keeping the back of the neck clean can be a full time job! That is not even taking into consideration how much more grooming the average guy does to manscape.
Manscaping: To groom a man. Shaving, waxing, cleaning up the superfluous fur (according to the urban dictionary).
A LOT of men manscape.
A lot of smart men get laser instead.
So what do guys get done?
Everything. I have treated scalps to toes, ears, legs, underarms, nasal areas. The most common are the front and back of necks, faces, backs and chests, and pelvis and groin. The results are awesome!
Laser is safe fast efficient and leaves the skin looking and feeling better and it lasts! Besides, there are just some areas that should never be stubbly and ingrown; or even come near a razor.
